Åland-Finland "Sauna traditions" joint stamp set on FDC from Åland

On May 24, 2017, the two postal administrations of Åland (an autonomous Finnish archipelago located at the entrance to the Gulf of Bothnia) and Finland put into circulation an interesting joint series (two stamps) devoted to the sauna traditions in this region of the world.
I do not know exactly about Åland but there are almost 3 million saunas registered in Finland for a population of 5.2 million inhabitants!
Sauna, a social and family-friendly institution that is an integral part of Finnish lifestyles, often consists of a wooden hut in which Finnish and Ålandic people, naked for reasons of hygiene, take a dry heat bath (between 70 and 100 °C) for their well-being and to eliminate toxins from the body through perspiration.

A big thank you Liisa for this official FDC (sale price : € 3.50) including the two joint stamps issued by Åland Post, with birch leaf-shaped cancellation from Mariehamn!
In sauna tradition, branches of birch wood (called "vihta") allow, by flogging body slightly, to stimulate blood circulation.
This type of branches is featured on these two stamps, inside a sauna on the stamp on the left (domestic permanent tariff "Inrikes" - € 1.40 currently) and hung next to the front door on the stamp on the right (permanent tariff "Europa" - € 1.40 currently).
These two stamps (print run : 130,000 each), also issued in the same miniature sheet (print run : 60,000), reproduce the winning photographs of competitions organized by the Åland Post (and the local newspaper Ålandstidningen) and the Finnish Post (with the newspaper Ilta-Sanomat).
Joel Ebersson is the author of the photo reproduced on the stamp on the right, taken in Ängösund (municipality of Lumparland in Åland) while the second stamp was designed from a photo taken by Juha Kainulainen in a sauna located in Parikkala (South-eastern Finland, near the Russian border).
It should be noted that the Finnish Post has issued a booklet composed of 5 different self-adhesive stamps, two of which reproducing the same photographs.
