"Rio 2016 Olympics" stamp set on FDC from Moldova

Since its first series devoted to Summer Olympic Games (Barcelona 1992), the Post of Moldova had already issued stamps evoking athletics or canoeing (sprint) in 1992 and 1996.
Two new sport events being part of these two disciplines have been chosen to be featured on the two stamps issued on July 25, 2016 on the occasion of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, held from 5 to 21 August 2016.
Designed by Vitaliu Pogolşa, this series appears on the official FDC below (print run : 500) with cancellation from Chișinău (MD-2012). Thank you very much Nicolae !
An aerial view of the Maracana Sports Complex is shown to the left on this envelope, including also the emblem of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Moldova.

That same emblem is included on these 2 stamps (as well as the mention "Rio 2016" without the official logo of these games). I guess the crown refers to Stephen the Great ("Ştefan cel Mare"), country's national hero.
Women's discus and hammer throw events are depicted on the first stamp (L 5.75, print run : 140,000), probably in reference to the participation of Moldovan athletes Marina Nichişenco, Zalina Marghieva (these two athletes have been suspended for doping in the past) and Natalia Stratulat in Rio.
Brothers Oleg and Serghei Tarnovschi participate in these Games in Rio in canoe (sprint) in the C-1 and C-2 events, discipline featured on the 2nd stamp above (L 15.50, print run : 60,000).
23 Moldovan athletes have been selected for these Olympics in Rio in 9 sports : athletics, judo, archery, wrestling, swimming, taekwondo, canoeing, tennis and weightlifting.
Since its first participation at the Atlanta Games in 1996, the team of Moldova won seven Olympic medals (2 silver, 5 bronze) in 5 different sports (boxing, wrestling, canoeing, weightlifting and shooting).
